2018 Club Report
Submitted By: Shane Palacat-Nelsen
This year, aside from submitting a commemorative resolution, we would like to honor Aunty Lucy "Lady" Kawamoto in our booklet write-up for her selfless volunteer work in our community.
Our club continues to celebrate the annual Prince Kuhio Day at Hulihe'e Palace as well as participate in the annual cultural festival at Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. We continue to follow community issues that impact our Native Hawaiian community and participate in community based planning. We continue to maintain our relationships with our partners and look at ways on how to encourage our community to participate in civic engagement.
