2018 Club Report

We are the proud members of Nanaikapono Hawaiian Civic Club of Nanakuli first organized in 1948 and this

year we will be celebrating our 70th Anniversary! Guided by our Pelekekina Kapiolani “Dolly” Naiwi we start our

New Year by gathering and cleaning Mauna Ala the Royal Mausoleum in Nuuanu the sacred resting place of our

cherished Alii’s. We are also dedicated to our community of Nanakuli by supporting our students of Nanakuli

High and Intermediate School. We do this by annually fundraising at Nanakuli High School May Day and all

proceeds are offered in our Christine Kunakau Scholarship to a deserving senior or seniors going to college. We

also give a Coaches Award at Nanakuli High & Intermediate School Songfest surrounded by the beautiful voices

of our youth! We are the proud members of Nanaikapono Hawaiian Civic Club!!
